Dr. Pip uses several techniques in the office. The traditional manual adjustment where you hear the sound of the adjustment or the table moves is a favorite for many people and utilizes motion to influence the nervous system. Other people prefer a lighter technique, she also uses a technique called SOT (Sacro Occipital Technique) which is a gentle tonal technique she weaves into most adjustments which uses a lot of cranial (head) work as well as gentle slower adjustments to foster change. This technique is very gentle and utilizes a lot of cranial (head) adjusting. In addition she will use other tonal or “light touch” techniques as required. Dr. Pip is a lifetime learner and is currently learning KST (Koren Specific Technique) which uses a gentle instrument to deliver the adjustment. In short, Dr. Pip works with you to find the technique that has the greatest change and you feel the most comfortable with.
