Shower Bombs

You have heard of Bath Bombs? Well these are SHOWER BOMBS! You place them in the corner of your shower where they are not in direct shower spray line but might get a splash here and there and will be exposed to the steam. They slowly break down and as they do they release their essential oil for the smell and healing qualities! I like eucalyptus to help with breathing (great when you are sick) and have also used Shinrin-Yoku, which is doTerra’s Forest Bathing Blend which brings the shower alive! I hear peppermint is great too.

  1. Add Baking Sode and Citric Acid to glass mixing bowl.
  2. SLOWLY add 20-30 drops of essential oil and water and thoroughly stir into the mixture.
  3. Press mixture into silicone moulds – I like mini muffin tins. Press firmly so the mixture is hard and packed in tight.
  4. Let try on the counter for 24hours
  5. Simply place in corner of shower where it will slowly dissolve in the steam or splashes of the shower (NOT in the middle of the shower stream).

P.S. I did a small batch ot this in a tray that would hold 6 small muffins. I used 23 mL Baking Soda, 15mL Citric Acid, and 1mL of water with 4 drops of essential oil. It worked perfect if you are looking for a smaller batch!

Lavender Lemon Sugar Scrub

This is a Christmas staple for our kiddos to make! They chose the lemon and lavender combo. Plus you smell amazing while making it!

  1. Add sugar to a glass bowl.
  2. Add room temperature coconut oil and start to mix with your hands.
  3. Add essential oils to the mix as it starts to get smoother
  4. Place in glass jar to store or gift.
  5. To use: add a TBSP or so in your palm and rub into any area of the body needing TLC. Wash off in the shower.
