Self Care vs Self Soothing
I was amazed when I first heard of this concept. It was a missing piece. Many of us don’t self soothe as we are so focused on self care. If we do self soothe, we have added guilt. Self care is what makes us stronger for tomorrow. Self soothing is what allows us distraction or comfort in a difficult time.
